Our objective is to fuse together the arts community of Louisville, Kentucky through the music of the Baroque in the style of the time. We strive to blend the living arts together through music that dances, sings, and plays with the modern day soul. Collaboration with various arts groups including Kentucky Opera, Choral Arts Society, Louisville Youth Choir, and Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra fuel our creative energy that audiences continue to enjoy. Schools around the community have complemented curriculae with special Bourbon Baroque visits reinforcing concepts, making old ideas new.
We believe in order to completely understand a culture, one must engage in the art forms that surrounded the passersby. Bourbon Baroque seeks to engage the modern day ear in a setting of artistic history that envelops the senses triggering a complete understanding of what it means to be "Baroque."
